Stage 2 began in 2010 when Susie Johnson brought together a small group of teens passionate about theater. What started as a few students exploring acting and improv has grown into a thriving program for ages 13–20, focused on creativity, connection, and community. Members learn every aspect of theater—from performing to behind-the-scenes work—through hands-on experience and collaborative productions. In 2025, Stage 2 entered a new chapter under Artistic Director Hunter Dungan, a Meridian native and alum. Today, the program continues to build confidence, inspire creativity, and foster a strong sense of belonging through the power of theater.
